Does anyone know if the Los Angeles Convention Center has RV parking? or if there's a nearby park in walking distance that allows RVs? My daughter will be attending a meeting at the center in July and overnight space would be nice.

I used to work downtown LA and there is no way I would park my RV downtown anywhere overnight. I checked the
web site for the convention center and I do not see RV parking mentioned anywhere. They do have a contact us button where you could send them an e-mail though and ask what they say. I checked the map and it does show some truck and special permit parking though.. Good Luck !

You are not going to find a place anywhere near the Convention Center, sorry.
It's a bad area and like most large city's rougher areas.
If it was me I'd probably stay at one of the campgrounds in Anaheim near Disneyland and commute. Not a very good commute but doable.
Good luck.

This might be a shot in the dark, but call USC. They are right down the road from there
and have parking lots. For one day, doable. For more than one, call and ask. There is a five or six dollar admission fee, I remember when I used to visit. As it is in July, school is out.

Best bet is the Pomona KOA, short drive to commuter train and easy bus from train to convention center.

Are you in Good Sam? I wonder if a Sambassador would offer you a driveway on the west side? Otherwise, I'd go for the suggestions to stay down by Disneyland and commute, either by car or train. I lived in LA for many years and was crazier than most, but I definitely wouldn't camp overnight downtown.

Even if it were in a "good" area, I wouldn't even attempt to drive a small Class C into that place. Think narrow streets and LOTS of traffic...

Actually you'd need two RVs; one to live in and one for the security staff you would have to take with you. Not a good idea at all.
