Looking for a new patio mat - one that doesn't kill grass and sand would go thru. Had two from Camping World but didn't hold up. Any suggestions? Like the ones that look like the sunscreens - not sure. Thanks.

We have one from Camping World that we have used for about 4 years, and still as good as new. It is porous, and will allow water sand and dirt to fall through. I think it is called leisure mat, and only comes in a dark green. Not as fancy as some, but very practicable would definitely buy one again.

We use a plastic tri-fold mat like those. It's been fine on grass so far.

Go to RV mat.com. They make the best mat available...and they guarantee them for life!! Mine is almost 4 years old and it's like new

Another great feature...doesn't have to be nailed down...been in 40 mph winds...stays right where we put it!

I will have to try them also, the last one I got from CW is falling apart in less than a year.

Have a great time camping,

trnfla, if it is coming apart in less than a year, take it back to CW. Their warranty is for 1 year. Should be covered and you should get a new one. It may not last longer than the last one but at least it will give you another year. We have the CW mats for the last 3 years. For the price they should last more than a year or so, I got a little over 2 years out of mine but when they start to disintegrate boy do they go fast from there.
