Wachochran thanks for that link. According to that document I don't need to have this verified. RV Trailers are excluded.

WHEN SHOULD THIS FORM NOT BE COMPLETED?
WHEN CERTIFICATE OF TITLE IS BEING APPLIED FOR ON ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
1. NEW MOTOR VEHICLE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER PURCHASED IN FLORIDA OR
OUT-OF-STATE.
2. MOBILE HOME.
3. TRAILER OR SEMITRAILER WITH A NET WEIGHT OF LESS THAN 2,000 POUNDS.
4. TRAILER TYPE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE (TRAVEL TRAILERS AND CAMP TRAILERS).

BTW, something I found out when trying to register my title-less Scamp trailer in FL (bought in Vermont which doesn't title trailers under 1,000 lbs) is that FL didn't consider my Scamp as a trailer (boat, utility, etc.) but an RV... Took me a while to get it registered and titled.

Many areas of Florida, Citrus County being one of them, have "Citizens On Patrol" groups and in that are Public Service Officers who will be happy to do any of this type thing it turns out you may need. They are sheriff's department but not sworn officers that document no-injury accidents and after-the-fact thefts and things like that..
