Hi...just read the post about wanting a permanent queen bed. I'm looking for the same thing. I guess its called an empty nester. Queen bed, small table, bathroom with shower & sink. Kitchen with the usual. But I'd like to be able to pull with my mini van which has a towing capacity of 3500lbs. I also do not really want any slides or pull out beds (had enough of that with the pop up). Is this just a dream or could I actually find it. With gas going up up up,,,,,you would think the mfg could make one in order for us poor folks to be able to keep camping and not have to do it in our backyard due to rising gas cost.
I drive a Pontiac Montana which is rated 3500lbs

check out a 16/17 ft Casita. the rear dinette could be made up and left a queen and use the side table and swivel chairs for eating/lounging.
one pulled by a RT 210 would be a great combo. IMHO.

MaryJo,
I wonder what minivan you are using?
We have a Toyota Sienna which we love---and this is the reason we have a small rig. It, too, is rated for 3500 pounds gross trailer weight and---with my weight distribution hitch---it will take up to 550 pounds tongue weight (300 pounds without).

We considered the R-Vision model TLX189QB to pull with our Ford Escape. It has the lowest (published) empty weight (2360 LBS) of any fixed-side trailer with a permanent queen bed that I could find. http://www.trail-lite.com/PDFs/Trail-Lite-Crossover.pdfSee it here.
We wound up with a bigger TT & TV instead.

my floorplan. 07 Orbit Sport 180fq. 3600 gvwr dry w/options 2700 single axle. It is an 18' box 20'4" w/tongue

They changed the floorplans in the Sport line for 08, so my exact one is no longer available. They do have a 19' box w/the front queen & bathroom that goes across the back. It is of course heavier than mine, I think all have dual axles now.
