We got a new 2007 Wildwood 27RLSS in March of this year. It is in the shop now for the fridge. It's on the recall list. Also it developed a leak, altho we can't figure out where it is. While in shop, dealer is going to pressurize it to find it. Other than that so far we have no complaints. I agree that it is on the low end model, but also what we could afford. We are very pleased with it.

I understand the "you get what you pay for" state of mind. However we paid a good amount of money for our Sandpiper which is suppose to be a step up from the Wildwood. It had the same problems. Forest River slaps units together without much though or care! Please shop around!

Darn it anyway

I'm going to be one of those POSITIVE guys who happens to like his Wildwood 22BH.

Large bed, big toilet, large comfortable dinette, large couch,

easy to use awning, and BBQ.

There is one thing I dislike I don't have time to use it more.

We also have a forest river TT, the quality could be better , we previously had an older model TT,,different brand, and it was much better quality than what we have now, we have had several leaks throughout, stereo system/tv monitor is a nightmare, and the last time we were up at camp, the converter was making some odd surging noises, so we will see what develops there, I love the lay out of the TT, so I am hoping that once these are fixed that will all be in the past and it will be happy camping from here on out, Dont believe its just FR, I think all things are made much cheaper and thrown together much faster with everything we buy.Best of luck with whatever you purchase

As everyone else says "you get what you pay for". For me, price is an issue and I tried to get the most bang for my buck. My 07 Wildwood 32BHDS was just the one. Great floorplan and more room than I can ask for, especially on rainy days (if we didn't camp in the rain we would'nt be camping lately). Though FR should take some quality training courses, I am happy, for now, with mine. I did have a few problems: int. trim falling off (not nailed down), water connections not tightned, slice in the carpet, screen door weatherstrip falling off, most of which I was able to fix myself and the rest was taken care of by warranty. My dealer also repaired a few after the warranty expired free of charge. Overall, I give my TT an 8 out of 10. Happy camping 2008.....

We have an 02 model and we are very happy with it. We bought it used and went through it with a fine tooth comb before we made the deal. It's a 27FKSS that we paid 9k for last year. Wild wood is an entry level brand, but decent quality. I think the dealer you buy it from may be as important as anything.

Virtually all of the responses you will get from Wildwood owners will be positive. No one wants to tell the world that they made a mistake when they spent a bunch of money for an RV.

DICK B I'm sorry your trailer was a mistake and you spent to much for what ever one you bought.

I didn't spend to much and the trailer is great.
