I don't carry because I have to, I carry because I get to. My pictures

If I tried to plan for and prepare for everything, I'd be towing my entire garage/shop along behind the trailer.
Exactly! I keep a basic tool kit and some cloth duct tape, metal duct tape and electrical tape. If anything else is needed I'll go buy it when neccessary.
Pick up an extra light bulb for your trailer running/brake/signal system. One of mine burned out on the way to North Carolina. Drove two days before I stopped at a KOA that had the bulb. Also consider at least one replacement bulb for your inside light system.
I do carry spare sewer parts just in case - elbows, rubber ring, and couplers. Also found out that I needed at least three different lengths of sewer hose - 20, 10 and 5 foot. I carry three different water hoses - 20, 10 and 5 foot. I have used all three and once all three at the same time. I have an extra 30 feet of electric cable and have used that once. It really sucks when you set up at a campsite and need to go off and buy something.

That's about what I carry, but I have made special storage and have the payload to carry just about everything except the kitchen sink and that inclues a 3/8 drill and bits, 4 1/2 in angle grinder and wheels, and a 1/2 in electric torque wrench. And of course I never leave home without my soldering tools and dremel tool and all the accessories. In fact when I do car work I almost never have to go anywhere else but to my Van to get whatever I need. If I do then I buy a second and put it in the Van. I also carry a lot of TV spares, alt, hoses, belts, vacuum pump, fuel pump, CPS, two of every filter and I add on filters on the PS, Tranny, cooling system and an oil bypass system ... I do need to get a waterpump to throw in the Van as a spare. I probably carry between 750 to 1,000 lbs of tools, fluids, spares, in my Van at all times. Even when I know I probably won't need it I even toss in my Honda 2000 EUI for good measure. Having the spares and tools on the road to take care of 95% of the repairs have paid for the cost of the spares and tools several times over.
