Probably not doing anything. Need to take a week off from camping and get some home job lists taken care of. We have several places that we need to go anyway for the next few weeks so it is really gonna be hard to fit camping into the equasion. And, add in work 6 days a week and I will be ready to pull my hair out by the end of July.

Trying out Skyhigh this weekend. Haven't ever been there before. We heard there were some issues with the pool after all the flooding - will be calling tomorrow to find out.
Side note:
Has anyone stayed at Holiday Shores in the Dells? I'm not familiar with it. We are invited up by some recent locals, I just don't know anything about it. Any insight is helpful. Thanks!

Spent some time with a chainsaw last night cutting up my neighbors tree. It had to be dropped the rest of the way after half of it went down last Thursday when a tornado went over our house. You may have seen some of the damage on TV.
I'll have at least a couple of of cords of wood by the time it dries and I get it split. This tree was almost 3' in diameter. Sure am glad me neighbor hired a tree service to cut the large stuff into pieces. The saw I'm using not be able to cut the large stuff up. Any body know how honey locust burns?

According to the NWS website, there wasn't a tornado in your area Thursday. If you're sure that's what it was (and not just the derecho winds) nobody reported it to anyone. With a tree that large coming down (and the rest of the damage Joe's gotten calls about) I would think it would be a tornado that maybe nobody reported to the NWS.

Bucky Badger, We have been to the Grand Canyon & it was really neat, especially the mule trip down the Canyon. This will be our first trip pulling our 5'er that far.

Car Guy, some notes on Sky High-
We camped there over the 4th of July weekend two years ago. We had a mixed experience, here are some thoughts:
Our biggest complaint was that the pool was way over chlorinated. We actually had to buy goggles in the store so the kids could swim without their eyes burning. One of the kids in our group ended up staying in their camper all afternoon after swimming because her eyes wouldn’t stop burning. Maybe they have a handle on this now, but it was bad then. The pool was nice otherwise.
Water can be an issue in the campground. They basically ran out of water by the end of the holiday weekend. Apparently they have a hard time reaching down to a good aquifer from way up there on the bluff. They have a couple of huge storage tanks that they fill up slowly during the week, but it was gone by the end of the holiday weekend. So I would put some in your tank even though you have a hookup. Maybe this is better this year will all the rain and the fact that you won’t be there on a holiday.
The back loops, which were pretty new when we went, were iffy for anything more than a pop-up. We did get our 21 foot HTT in there, but not by much. Once we were in, it was very nice – very state park like. The grassy area should be able to take rigs of almost any size.
The view is spectacular and there is likely to be a nice breeze on a hot day.
Let’s see, what else? They charged me for arriving early on our first day. Not a lot, but I think it was like $10 or something.
The girls were upset with one of the workers in the store who told them she would take all the tickets they had won in the game room if they didn’t make up their minds quickly about what prizes they wanted. They were probably hemming and hawing like kids do, but I thought that could have been handled a little more smoothly.
Watch out for poison ivy along the road edges. We spotted lots of it near the sewer station. No outbreaks though.
That’s all that comes to mind right now.
