On the second post the side dish to pass is listed for each site attending if we've received that info. If it's not there we havn't seen it yet. Good reminder that we're looking for info from many of you still.
Thanks

Thanks everyone!
Surgery went well, although the screw is still there. She tried seven different instruments to get it out, and none worked. She said the company is going to send her one more that she'll try in the office. She said something about opening a stitch or two and trying again. I did know that it was possible that they might not get it out, I was just hoping . . .
Anyway, the rest of the surgery went well. Right now, my leg is numb from about halfway past my knee all the way to my toes. It should stay that way until Sunday when we remove the catheter. Here's a picture Abby took for me . . .
Doesn't that look lovely!

I heard that Coke is a good rust buster for rusty screws and a little Rum makes the medication fun.

Dave, I had the screw put in 14 years ago when I had bunion surgery. It didn't do what they hoped it would do, but I never had a need to have it removed until now.
Mike, I'm doing OK. Had to go back to the hospital today, as I was in a LOT of pain. They had to add some stronger medicine to the catheter and gave me a prescription for stronger pain meds. They also changed the dressing, as that was a bit too tight. It's much better now, although I'm still confined to the recliner.
