I'd love to know how you got that price! When I did my brakes and lube job it ran me almost $500.00! Needless to say I think I got overcharged and was told on this site that I did a little. I need to get mine done as it's been another two years. Needless to say I will be looking for someone else to do the work.

The castle nuts were on but on the newer Dexter hubs there is no cotter key going thru the castle nuts. They are kept from turning or coming loose by a retainer clip. The more I drove, the more those nuts were starting to unscrew.
