Jayco finally contacted my dealer -- they are coming out next week to take a look -- thanks for all the input !!

Not sure about jayco's wiring, but my coachmen has a 20A breaker dedicated for the A/C. The A/C has no reason to be wired to a GFI breaker or a breaker shared with anything else since the startup draw on a A/C can be near 20A at times. I agree with the other posts, it seems that your problem is incorrect wiring.
