Sureflow makes all sorts of fluid transfer pumps. The dealership I worked at last had one we bought from NAPA to pump fresh oil into deisel engines when we did oil changes. It worked great, and looked nearly identical to the water pumps we all see in rv's. I'd say that the difference would be the rubber "pump" parts. If you aren't to terribly concerned about ruining it, I'd give it a shot. Chances are it'll do the job.

The diaphram in a SureFlo is rubber and oil will attack rubber.

Really? We used Diaphram pumps to pump cold and hot engine oil everyday and they out perform most other pumps we've tried.

Yeah- I was talking specifically about this type of low displacement high speed diaphragm pump, not in general.
It may well work, I just don't think it would work well.

I tend to agree with Chris on this one as this diaphragm pump was designed to pump water. However in the industrial world diaphragm pumps are used to pump all kinds of nasty stuff as they don't have impellers to get clogged up and they are positive displacement pumps.
It might work fine, only one way to know for sure.

We use a RV pump to pump concentrated round-up from a barrel to a jug.

This would be my concern. The type of pump will work, but it might not work for long if the oil eats the diaphragm.

The diaphragm material is santoprene which is resistant to oil, not as good as other materials but it would probably hold up for many years.
