Here it is the 3rd full week of June already.

Is the campground your staying at full?

We are currently at Holly Shores just outside Wildwood New Jersey. I can report that it is absolutely dead here. Is this normal? I know some of the schools in this area are only getting out this week but most if not all in PA are finished for at least a week or more.

The boardwalk and restaurants seem slow too so I do not think it is just RV's that are keeping the crowds down.

I would say this place is about 25 percent or less full. We think most of the units we see are seasonal sites.

What's it like where you are?

It's a tad early, Memorial weekend at where we go was packed and will be all summer. Folks in this area are staying closer to home because of fuel and the ecomony.

I bet it will still be pretty full on weekends. Just wait for July 4th!

Cg's around here are full. Mid week you can get in as you normally can, but on weekends, it's hard to find a spot.

last week we stayed at frontier town in Ocean City Md and Holiday travel Park in Virginia Beach VA, Fontier Town was fairly full on the weekend but after Sunday afternoon it really emptied out probably only 25% full, We arrived midweek in VB at the holdiay travel park and it seemed nearly empty, granted its a huge park with over 1000 sites but it seemed weird to see it so empty, there were entire loops empty, it filled up some on the weekend but no where near full. I don't know if it was because it was still rather early , 2nd week of June, or the gas prices.

Just left Yellowstone and the Tetons. Not crowded when we were there, but as we were leaving they were lined up at the Kiosk. Grizzly Rv says they will stay pretty full thru summer to Sept.

Full on the weekends. Clears out on Sunday. Pretty quiet on Moday and Tuesday. Folks start to resurface on Wed afternoon. And full again by the weekend.

Has been like this, is like this now, and will be like this in the future.

If it's listed in the Yellow Pages, the government shouldn't be messing around with it.

Not full up & closed, but the five camp grounds in Texas, New Mexico, and Colorado that we visited ion the last three weeks were far from empty; site selection was limited (I'm glad we had site specific reservations at two of them!).
The only site that we stayed at that was only partially used was a sort of "private club" and even it was significantly fuller than it was last christmas.
