Was wondering if someone can help please, the cord has broken on our day/night shade and I must be dumb, but can anyone tell me how to get the blind off so I can re-string it.I read lots of your messages about re-stringing but no-one mentions how to take it down to begin with!

HI wrva, I just went through that with one of my shades..Look under the valance , see if you can find the metal tab lock. if so push the tab lock over then twist the top of the shade out. When one side is out repete the other side. should come out easy. When you put the shade back in have someone to help, othervise the strings want to come out if you happen to drop the bottom of the shade. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Do they sell screw drivers with square slotted heads in Dubois?

Square slotted bits are commonly included in those multi bit tip screwdriver sets.

Mine are also simply screwed into the wall, no fancy snap, locking tabs.
