Heading out on a 1000 mile trip over the 4th. Will do the towing mileage check and report.
Trip report after 500 miles:
9.4 mpg with 7,500 miles on the truck. One tread loss on the Famous Kenda Tires on the 5er. I will try to make it back to Texas on the spare and three remaining Kenda's. I've already ordered a set of Michelin XP Rib LT 235/85 R16 LRE tires and they will be installed at Discount tire.
If the mileage improves on the return trip I will report.
