I have a Carefree of Colorado electric awning installed on my KZ Escalade FW (came with the unit) and would like to know if anyone knows how to adjust the pitch. The arms have six different settings and I would like to put a little more slope in the canopy for 1. Get a little more shade, and 2. move the end of the canopy closer to the ground to allow me to reach the end readily to hang my wife's out door lights. Can any one help? I have read this particuliar canopy has the rain release and also have found out this COC awning is offered in two slopes the flat and the steep pitch. With the six settings on the end of the arms I think perhaps, this unit is adjustable. I have contacted COC but have not had an answer. Thank you - bigdawgkp

On each arm there are 2 spring loaded pins, push them in and move arm away from trailer, mine are set at 4 holes away from trailer and it dropped the front roll bar quite a bit, you might like it a little further down or not as much as mine (experiment)

BTW mine is an Escalade 2

If you have the Eclipse or similiar scissors type awning from Carefree, then each arm can use different adjustment holes w/o affecting operation. I keep the door side high for clearance, but the other side low for water runoff. If you don't have clearance issues with the door, then there should be no problem with using the lowest setting on both.
