We bought a Bighorn 3055 in 06,traveled over 17k miles with no trouble are problems. They are well made trailers. We recently traded the Bighorn in on a Heartland Landmark.

Go to Heartlandowners.org and you will find plenty of information on heartland products. I have an 2008 Heartland Big Horn 3055rl 5'ver and have yet to find another unit that I like better. Beautiful trailer inside and out and relatively few problems with it. I also have the China bomb tires (Mission) however have pulled the unit several thousand miles with no problems....keep tires aired up to 80psi and check them regularly. JWB

We have an 08'Bighorn, 3600RL. Have lived in it for a year...had some problems that Heartland took care of without question. Can't find better customer service, or more RV for your money! Would buy a Heartland again in an instant.

As for the tires...weren't happy with them either...replaced them with Goodyear G614's...no problems since!

You can get alot of input from owners...good and some not so good...on the owner's forum. Go to Heartland Forum

We are Jayco fans, but if any manufacturer would make me change (if we were in the market) Would be a Heartland. Would want the Landmark, but Big Horn more in our budget. They are a good RV and manufacturer. Every manufacturer can make a lemon, so with that in mind, go for the Heartland

Heartland is a good company that has a great reputation for customer service. After years of looking, we went with a Heartland Sundance ( Mid profile). For the money, Heartland offers one of the best values on the market.

We had it narrowed down to the Jayco Designer and the Big Horn ... Really liked the Big Horn, but the floorplan of the 35RLTS from Jayco just got our attention. If I remember correctly, the insulation factor on the Big Horn was a little better than the Designer!

Before you buy the Big Horn, check out www.lakeshore-rv.com. They carry Big Horn and, from what I saw, had some fantastic prices. Might give you more negotiating power !!!

I purchase a Bighorn in Apr 05 and had many problems with the first units that they made. Sold it last year and been very happy. Like any RV they have problems no matter who makes thems.

We just bought a Big Horn 3400 RE in March. We love it. Haven't had any problems yet. We haven't had to deal with the manufacturer yet but have heard great things about them. We really like the quality of build inside and out. These units are well thought out in design.

2008 Big Horn 3370 here, great unit with no problems. We also have a great dealer so service has been good as well for the cosmetic stuff. I'd buy one again. The new 3580 floor plan intrigues us but have yet to see one "in person".
The laminated floor system is new this year and makes for a really well insulated and solid floor. As others have said, quality built unit for the price point and they have a lot of standard features that are optional on other units.
