Been to Bluewater Key too. You will NOT find a nicer, roomer, waterfront site then Bluewater Key anywhere else in the Keys.

Boyds is closer, but you will find you are packed in. Sometimes you can not even open your awning without it hitting your neighbors rv. We drove through Boyds and it is NO comparison to Bluewater.

You will not find any site like this at Boyds.
Bluewater site.

We've gone to Boyd's for about a week in Jan. the last two years. The sites aren't the biggest out there, but the people working there and staying there are usually so nice. It's literally a 2 minute drive into Key West and the not-so-reliable bus service has a stop right in front of the campground. The pool is lovely too. BTW, the picture in my profile is our rig right after we pulled into Boyd's in Jan 2006.

I stay at KOA Sugarloaf Key 19mm for the months of Jan & Feb. Have also stayed at Bluewater but could not get the times I wanted. KOA sort of grew on me because I have been going since 94.

We we in Key West last week and stayed at Geiger Key at MM 10. Nice small park with open air waterfront Restaurant and Bar on site. Good food and good prices and nice local people. They are very pet friendly and you can bring them to the Restaurant. We had asked about day care for "Peaches" and Hope the manager said just leave her in the RV and they would check on her. Here is a link to my pics They are a Passport America park also.
