Yes, I always put up lights around our awning, they are multicolored flowers. I call them my "cheesy lights"
We use tiki torches sometimes, too. We enjoy checking out how others have decorated their sites. Some people really get into it, like at Halloween or if it's Christmas in July or something like that. We don't get quite that into it, but it is festive.

Did the whole lights on the awning thing before but now it is rope light (orange) on the ground and tiki lights with citronella oil around the campsite.
I do have a flag pole out and when I can leave it out at night I will put a spot light on it....but only when the light will not bother other campers.

I must be getting lazy !!

Just love those tacky lights. My son gave us Route 66 awning lights and we would not leave home without them. We also have a flag wind sock and a set of wind chimes. Love to look at all the others also.

We have a awning that we put a strand of lights on and then we have a canopy that we have over the picnic table and have a strand of colorful globe lights on. We found a dimmer to add to our lights to dim them when we want to just sit around the campfire. We found that we don't have to use a lantern as much. We also have two tiki torches going also. We deffinitely get into our lights and try to be festive during the seasons. This is something we enjoy as a family when we camp and walk around the campsites to see others different decor. There was one light fixture we saw this last time we went camping that I would like to have and have not found it yet, it was a 3ft to 4ft little old man holding a lantern and it was sitting at the end of the camp site and the lantern lights up (still looking for me one).

OH yes, I forgot the wind chimes. only thing more annoying other than a $250 gen set running during quiet hours, or at anytime for that matter.

We have a set of globe lights for our awning and various other little do dads to hang from the awning, but as stated before, it's terribly hard to put the awning up in a hurry if need be. So, the lights go up if the weather looks to be clear and calm for the time there. DH made a post lamp. We will hang a wooden plaque with our name on it when DH gets it finished. It plugs in and we turn it off at night.

We have globe lights and added a dimmer to them to tone down as needed. Rope lights either just under the awning and/or on the ground. We try to leave the million candle power lights at home, yet some times we see others with them at night. I assume that they are used to track the International Space Station or supplying light to a small town nearby. And our proud American flag!

Tiki torches and rope lighting around the perimeter of the awning mat. The rope lights give the mat a glowing look.

We are abit skeptical of putting lites on our new power awning so we have purchased two of the telescoping canopys one to set at each end of the awning both will be decorated with lites and twirly jigs and will give us more shade and a place to sit while it rains Plus I found singing Flamingos at Big Lots Boy did I get a look from DW when those went in the cart

We decorate with a couple of strands of lights. Tiki torches and a fish wind sock. I do want to add old glory to the decorations soon!
