OK, I bit and paid the 10 bucks....it talks about adding an epsom salt mixture to the battery to remove the buildup on the plates...sounds like a good theory - might have to give it a try on a dead battery sometime.

My first inclination is that he's blowing smoke up my skirt.* However, his feedback indicates a high satisfaction rate.

Be that as it may, I still don't think I want it.

(*I quit wearing skirts. The guys in the locker room laughed at me.)

You don't need the solution. Newer chargers have a desulfation mode for clearing the plates. Save your money for future replacement of batteries.

I don't know exactly what he is selling but the listing set off alarm bells loud and clear.. He says "Golf cart" or "Club car" battery which is a six volt flooded wet cell.. Shows a 12 volt maintenance free and then in other places says "don't replace refurbish"

I suspect it's a bottle of stuff you pour into the cells supposed to renew the battery...

So what's in the bottle? Well.... If you have not figured that out by now.

The alarms are the "Reptile lubricator" alarms. I'm not 100% prepared to say for sure it's snake oil... I mean he might surprise me. But all the products I have seen in this class have been of limited benefit to the buyer.

All he gives is the information. 10 teaspoons of epsom salts to one pint of distilled water. Remove enough liquid from the battery to expose the top fo the plates then replace with with the epsom salt mixture. This will remove the sulphtes from the plates and supposedly recondition the battery.
