My Goodyear Marathon ST (14in. C rated) tires say max load at 35psi cold. The tire spec. on the Goodyear site says 50psi max pressure. Max. load psi is not to be confused with max. psi. They will gain a bit of pressure when warm so I don't want to put in 50psi cold... right??

My manual specifies to run the tires at the max pressure listed on the sidewall. In my case, its 50psi.

1. All Load Range C tires are 50psi tires, your Goodyears included. Here's the Goodyear inflation chart.
2. Maximum cold tire pressure is just that, max pressure when the tires are cold, before any travel. It is not maximum tire pressure, the tires will have more pressure as they warm up on the road. Never remove pressure from a warm tire. You'll probably find them at 55 psi or so after a run. 50 psi cold is the criteria.
3. The Surveyor SV192T is "over-tired and may be an exception to the "always run max sidewall pressure" procedure. Your tires at 35psi have a tire capacity (for all four) of 5720 pounds capacity which is probably fine for your trailer as it weighs no more than 5100 pounds. The Surveyor placard trumps the "max sidewall pressure" procedure as the tires are much larger than usual.
My '06 Roo 23SS weighs no more than 4800 pounds and has the same tires as your surveyor. I've been running them at sidewall spec (50 psi) with 7040 pounds capacity with no tire issues and they run "cold." I recommend you do the same unless your towing experience indicates otherwise such as worn center tread. (Our placard shows a smaller 13" tire at 50 psi and 5440 pounds tire capacity - typical Forest River slip up.)

Thanks for the info Chuck
I'll have to look at the sidewalls when I get home. I know I have the max load @ 35psi written on them - I must have missed the 50psi load rating.

After checking my sidewalls I have 14 in. B rated Marathons - The correct inflation is 35psi.
