We had one poor soul that finally found just a cracked caulking section that allowed moisture down into some wall studs and when we finally pulled the wall apart the studs were just shells.
The ones I have here where I am parked are huge black ones and they bite! Feels like a wasp sting bite. I've never seen ants like this before. The poor dog even had one hanging off her lip, he latched on and wouldn't let go. Do carpenter ants bite?
