We are in the process of building a couple of RV parking spots for friends we have come in occasionally, but mostly to have a place to dump tanks when we come in from a trip.
Someone suggested this might be a good place for some northern snowbirds to winter and they would not have to drive to Florida. I think we might be too far north for that. Electric, water, sewer, phone and cable already there. Privacy in the wooded area on back side of property. Lots of wildlife. Pen for pups in place as well.
Whadaya think?

What are the average high and low temps during the winter? The reason I ask is that what seems cold to people from GA or FL might be "heaven" for people from Michigan or northern New York. We intentionally spend our winters in north Florida or other cooler snowbird destinations, because our comfort zone is in the 60's to low 70's for high temps. Anything warmer is getting uncomfortable for us, so you may find others who feel the same way. Get us away from snow and ice, or temps consistently in the teens, and we're happy as clams.

MichDoc I never thought of it like that, it is so true. I have always said I live in a fairly mild area. What is mild to me might be intolerable to others.

What I think you have, (having lived in your area for years) you have a great overnight stopping point for the snowbirds.

Reserve a spot for me!
I'm up for a spot like that winter or summer time.
Georgia is not as humid as southern Florida can get in summer.
On my trips to Florida, I liked Georgia best, except driving thru your Atlanta.

Didn't think about average temps. We get some freezing temps at night but most days are above freezing. We had folks here in March and they wore shirt sleeves, said it was mild compared to the winters in Iowa. So I guess it is all relative. I'll let you guys know how things progress. Thanks for the info and advice

Sounds like a good idea.
Not for me tho!
I am not happy unless the temp is well into the seventies.
Low eighties even better.
We winter in Okeechobee and in three months last year, had the air on once for fifteen minutes.
This was only because we left the Rv buttoned up tight while away and used the air to drive out the hot stale air.
Post a couple pictures, I am sure someone will be interested.

I grew up in Omaha, Nebraska. Daily high temperatures in the teens much of the Winter, and lows of +10F to -05F are very common.
South Texas, Louisiana, Alabama or the Florida Panhandle are much more tollerable these days.
I have a sweet tender nature, however I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions.

I kind of like anywhere that doesnt require me to move 3 feet of snow everyday so that I can get out the driveway....so whatever temps are natural to the area and it doesnt snow is great......
