I think my first post ended up in the technical quesitons sections. Gees.
Anyway, I recently purchased a Hi-Lo 23C Classic. So far I'm very pleased (once I got in the habit of checking and double checking before I lower the top - glad the cabinet hinges give way before the actual door does ). When I was looking for a lightweight travel trailer, and not really wanting a hybrid or pop-up, I found the Hi-Lo. It probably took me a year before I finally decided to make the plunge. I had to rely on my own intuition for the most part because I had a heck of time finding any reviews, blogs or any other information other than from the dealer. I would sure like to hear from other Hi-Lo owners and learn about any forums, experiences or any other information that might be usefull down the road.
Happy camping to all.

I was considering one of these awhile back, but DW said we didn't need a third camper . but oh well. Keep us posted how it works out(problems, heads up, etc). Gary
Hi fellow HiLo owner JLow, Better check three times when you put it up or down. Anywho the post that gave the HiLo Club hyper will help. Most of the people in those regional clubs will know everything about them. Mine is a Bon Voyage 3191 which indicates 1991 model 31'9" long. What is yours? Welcome, I think you have found the right sub group for the forums.
Wow that's the biggest hi/lo I have ever seen. I have always liked the idea of these, and they sure would tow better with the lower center of gravity. But I was always concerned with the lifting mechanism. Are Hi/lo's still made? I don't see many out my way?

My Hi-Lo is a 2007 23' Classic. We chose this one because the dealer wanted to get rid of the last 2007 and we got a good price, but also the fridge in the classic is a bit bigger than the 2008 models. When I was shopping I saw anywhere from a 19' to a 27', but that was just at the dealer. I think I they are even making them with slideouts now. There aren't very many dealers in the Pacific Northwest, in fact I only found two, one in Washington and one in Idaho, and luckily I only live about 5 miles from the one in Washington. I've never seen one at the RV shows they've had around here for some reason. But, to answer the questions, yes, they are still made and the newer ones are even lighter than 2007 and earlier. Since they do pull similar to the pop up it is easier on the gas mileage and you get the benefits of the regular larger travel trailers.
Thanks, I did run across that link when researching. My problem was just finding anything for Hi-Lo via a simple internet search. Tons showed up for Hilo Hawaii.

Appreciate the feedback. Mine is a 2007 23' Classic. I am surprised at the lack of dealers for these though. After initially knocking off the bathroom cabinet doors I've started walking thru and touching everything, making sure its where its suppose to be, and STILL hold my breath when I lower it
Here in AZ there is Dillons RV City in Mesa that has alot of them in all different sizes, New and Used. They are about 1 mile from my house. I see them out there all the time. I actually see alot of people camping with them here out west.
