Turned on the propane and then turned the fridge to auto. The light indicated switched to gas. The fridge never got cold and the light indicated when checked again, attention was need. Why wouldn't the fridge get cold with propane? And yes, there is propane in the tanks. No electricity.
Hopefully it's something simple, (operator error)

Is the trailer plugged in? If not' if battery runs low, circuit board will not function.
2) When was the last time it ran on gas?

I can't remember the last time it ran on gas. The trailer was not plugged into electricity. Before we were heading on a trip I wanted to cool down the fridge in order to place some food in there for traveling. So it wasn't even hooked up to the truck.
Ditto the good 12V to the fridge. Easy to check with a multimeter.
If not run on propane for a while, it can take several cycles of trying to start it before the lines are bled and propane flows the burner.
If both of the above are good, time to start troubleshooting the fridge. Multiple good sources for that on the web plus helpful folks here once you have some info to report.
When was the last time you PMed (preventive maintenance) the fridge. Dirty or our of adjustment ignitor can cause issues as well as a dirty burner.

Where would I find PM information on the fridge?
