There are more the one Holiday travel park. It is a chain of parks. I have stayed at a few for just a night or two and found them nice but not fancy. Not sure witch one you are checking on

If you are referring to the one in Emerald Island, NC, it's pretty nice. Getting a little pricey, but nice. Good access to the beach; a lot of activities for the kids; good resturaunts in the area; gated entrance.
Here is a link that has more opinions on the CG:

I was just there a few weeks ago, its a nice park but not all of the sites are created equal, some are pretty bad, the premium sites are very nice, they are pricey but you get a paved patio and parking spot for your rig, a large picnic table that is permanentley affixed to the ground and has seat backs, and a fancy fire pit and of course cable TV. The premium sites are the only sites that have fire pits, although they will let you have a fire on the ground on any site. The park is huge there are 4 pools and 2 stores in the park, the park is appox 2 miles from the ocean and they have a private parking lot across the street from teh beach. There is also a bike path you can easily take from the park to the beach, you do have to be careful with kids on the bike path because you have to cross a couple of busy intersections and a brdge but then you can ride your bikes on the beach boardwalk. The KOA is down the road across the street and it did not seem as nice. There is a naval air base very close by that is very active and the planes are VERY loud just something to be aware of.

You might consider staying at American Heritage in Williamsburg, and making day trips to the beach - if plane noise would be an issue.

My former camping neighbors visit the park you've mentioned almost monthly and love it.

We have stayed there a couple times, very nice. whatever your camping style they have something for you. I think we paid about 38.00 a night, not bad. Enjoy.
