For an old computer, open it up and clean it. Then reseat all of the cards and close it up. There's a good chance though that the power supply is failing.
Thanks for all the advice. I will clean the insides good, chect the fan, reseat every thing and maybe change out the power supply with a space I have around here somewhere. I tend to agrees with whoever said the hard drive may be dying. It does make some unusual noises. This problem has been going on for more than a year. It go better for awhile after I bought my new one. But all this will have to wait until after July the 7th, we are headed to a North Georgia campground tomorrow.

I think crazyhorse has the right idea. Go on the net and download a file called Memtest3.2 (or whatever version it is now) and test your memory. Your symptoms are indicative of a low memory problem.
