I just wanted to say thank you to Michelin Tires. I had a blow out on a tire that had less than a 1000 miles on it. I took it to a Michelin tire dealer and then the RV dealer where I purchased my RV. Both places said sorry we won't do anything with it. I emailed Michelin and with in a couple of hours had a response saying we'll take care of you, send us the receipt. Then with in two weeks they had reimburse me with a check. Michelin will be my tire of choice for the future.
Thanks

Also, if there is 70% thread left Michelin will pro-rate the warranty on the tire.

Was it a road-hazard issue?

What caused the blow out. I want a tire that doesn't blow out from a manufacturer rather than one that takes care of it's blow outs.

I'm not sure what caused the damage but it was on the side wall of the tire. Before leaving on my trip I checked my tire presure and it was fine. When I got to my destination my tire was low. As we were adding air it exploded. i don't remember hitting anything or running over anything. I wasn't angry with the other two places, I was just happy that Michelin stepped up.

Maybe there was road hazard damage that was not noticed before the blow-out. After the tire exploded there in the side wall, the damage could never have been identified.
If you can't trust Michelin to make a good tire, then there is nobody you can trust.
I don't put Michelin down....I commend them like the original poster. I'm glad I have Michelins on my RV.
