I recently moved into a city and now have curbs. I have a good spot to park the trailer, but i would need to back it up over a curb. I'm not sure how the trailer would handle this. Does anybody have any ideas or can tell me how they do it.

depending on the approach, you can use several 2x10s stacked to ease the trailer over the curb. You will need these to be several lengths say 3 ft and 2ft and 1ft. Stack the short ones on top of the long ones. To make it better have one end cut with a angle (45 degree or less).

The TT could handle it easy. The problem is the tires. It is easy to break the steel belts in the tire when backing over curbs. When backing into the curb, the whole weight of the TT is pushing on the rear tire, you can see a lot of flex on the rear tires, then the weight is suspended on only two tires, overloading them until the second pair is firmly on top of the curb.

There are a lot of trailers out there with weak spring hangers (don't ask me how I know) so it could cause a problem there as well as the tires. Probably should make some sort of ramp

Here are some curb ramps that are made for getting RVs up curbs.

As long as you have the necessary ground clearance and take it slow you will have no problem with the curb. Have you looked at some of the chuck holes on the highways? They make your curb seem pretty tame when you consider hitting one of them at 60 MPH or so.

I used to use a 4X4 against the curb and a 2X4 against that. Worked well.

Make sure that your sewer connection will clear. Mine is very low and I would worry about tearing it off if the curb was very high.

We built ramps to get over our curb. Our curb is pretty high.

If you are worried just use the ramps as already stated.
