I use my toaster over to bake cornbread, small snack cakes, biscuits, etc. I bought a special set of baking pans, made by Echo, for it and just can't imagine being without it! I just wish I had the room for one in the TT, our oven doesn't work so I have to improvise with my electric skillet.

Indispensable, Never use regular oven unless we do not have hookups.

We have a small toaster oven in our TT. With our limited storage it rides in the oven when traveling. We pull it out and it fits just next to the sink. However I haven't used it yet.

I bought a couple of pans from Camping World that fine inside my toaster/oven. One is like a little cookie sheet, the other is like a little rectangular cake pan.

Oh, and I line the tray or pans with those pop-up foil sheets. Those things are so handy!

I've been wanting a toaster oven again. I believe the one I used to have was a Black and Decker -- probably 30 years ago or so. I've looked at some lately, but they seem so "flimsy" compared to what I think I remember. Does anyone have any brand recommendations that you are really pleased with?
Thanks!

HMMMMMM.... I use my toaster oven ALL the time at home. Not sure why I never thought of taking it camping. I bake small things as listed by others and I "toast" with it and my personal favorite is broil burgers, steaks, fish, hot dogs, ect.
Just might have to think about taking it along in the morning! So excited to be getting away.

I've got the cheap-o toaster oven from Wal-Mart and it works great - if it breaks I'll go get another cheap-o one. Cruzette, it sits on my counter (but I'm fortunate to have a lot of counter space in my rear kitchen.
I bought all the goodies for the pizza's and will have them for dinner tomorrow night. I LOVE my weiners roasted or rather done under the broiler at 'home' but didn't think of the broiler on the toaster oven for them! YES! Burgers...hmmm. this is going to get interesting.

I use mine a lot too. The Jiffy cake mixes do well. Just the right size for 2.
If I have left over hamburger or hot dog buns, the grand kids use them to make pizzas. Not to bad, and a good way to use the buns.
I put mine out on a table and let the grand kids bake those peal and stick cookies(the tubs of frozen cookies do well too). The traffic by our camp site was pretty steady, as the aroma from the cookies filled the camp ground.
There was an older couple walking by and there was a batch just coming out of the oven, DGD put one on a napkin for each of them, I thought they were gonna cry. They ended up becoming fast friends. I think they were just lonesome for their family. Good lesson for the kids.
