I have been reviewing topics and find mention of things like extension cords, power monitors/regulators, etc. Please let me know of anything along these lines that you think I should have for the trip. Thanks

I presume you mean for a trip to AK? I would be more concerned with "must have" parts for the chassis (I don't know what you are driving...) than the camper... So far I have needed to put on my spare tire and add oil to the engine - both required having the supplies with me. I do have a tire plug kit and air compressor with me, but didn't need them as i was in Tok when I discovered the flat. The oil I run is synthetic - not a usual off-the-shelf thing in remote areas - so i carry a spare quart - glad i did. Likewise I have a windshield chip fill/repair kit from wallyworld - have received a small ding, but it is not in my line of sight and not showing signs of growing, so no repair thus far. I did install a mesh screen over my grill - that has worked out well - the evening ritual is brushing the dried bugs off of it!!! Likewise a good tire pressure guage - I check tires every day before starting out. We tend to boondock alot, so we make sure we are self-sufficient on water, etc. regularly, and travel with the tank full. Good travel books (The Milepost and Alaska Camping) and a Walmart atlas have been very useful. Hope this helps! ST

Like Loggenrock mentioned oil etc. I would add transmission fluid at least a quart and supertine belt and a heavy weight hydraulic jack the extension cord 50 to 100 ft heavy duty we used several times. Have fun

We're up here now, and the only things I brought were my wallet and the number for Good Sam Emergency Road Service, which we had to use in Tok, when the truck wouldn't start. It was diagnosed as failing batteries, which I replaced from the local NAPA store. A lot of it is the luck of where you break down,
