The commander is my wife's. It's a great family rig, and we absolutely love it. My JK is being re-geared (if the darn gears ever come in) so we can have some fun and tow with it too. No DVD player for the kiddos, but they love being roofless.

I have stayed at that resort, with our grandkids. Grandson caught his "first fish" there. Did you take the kids to see the light show on the face of the dam? It is fantastic.

No we didn't this time. I have seen it (though not for years), and hoped to take them, but being on the lake every day they were asleep by 9. Hopefully next time we're there we'll go. We should be over there at least 3-4 more times this summer.

Great pics! How do you like the westlake??? Enough room for the family? We have 2 girls but our dog is only an 11 pounder.

I know how you feel, I am itching to get it out

this weekend is just a drive way campout to test things, and stock it up. but after that, lookout

Will be nice to watch my kids grow up in front of trees and creeks, rivers and valleys instead of gameboys and xbox.

Flash.... the Westlake was great. Never felt cramped at all. Kids on one end, and the wife and I on the other. We shifted bags from the bed to the dinette when we were ready for bed. My wife and girls used the shower every day (I refuse to shower more than once every two days while camping , and as planned, we did all of our cooking outside. That's as much a part of camping as roasting marshmallows to me. So while I cooked, my wife prepared the rest of the stuff at mealtime. We did eat inside at dinner and breakfast. The dog stayed outside all day, but slept in on his bed at night.
