Anyone out there know of a quiter water pump on the market.
I have an FS2500 WW and that water pump sound like grandpa's under the bed sawing logs!!!
If there is no better pump than what seems to be available, has anyone moved the pump outside under the trailer?
I need to quite that thing down!

Thanks to all.

Two things can be done to quiet down a water pump.
1. Use flexable hoses on the intake and output ports.
2. Mount the pump on a rubber mount bolted to the floor and not a side cabinet wall.

That's funny....mine's pretty quiet.....hardly ever runs....maybe a minute or so for a shower----a couple seconds doing dishes......my grandpa never sawed logs under the bed?????? Weird!

Here you go. Variable speed and very quiet. On sale right now but you must also use the strainer which is additional.

Imagine that; a noisy water pump!
Try searching this forum for `water pump' then search the results for words like `noisy' and read on. This subject and RV cover seem to come up every week.
On a good day our 4.0 Shurflo is so quiet we can't hear it at the far end of our rig.
