It's great to see them trying something new. "For every thousand pounds that we can take out of the unit itself, it will save 9% on fuel," sounds a like a bit of a stretch.

If you currently get 12mpg it would save about 1 MPG ... that's not that big of a stretch.

Looks like the Domani in appearance. It probably is not a full timers rig though. It is cute though.

Joe,

I would think just the opposite, I would believe it would be well suited for full timing. I'm not sure in the scheme of Pilgrim's thinking where the trailer ranks next to their "Open Road" line. Whether it's above the Open Road in functionality and amenities or below. From the description, the Domani sounds like Pilgrim is positioning it above their Open Road line of 5er's. And Open Roads are suited for full-timers.

We have a Pilgrim Legends and love it!

If the new materials will be durable and save weight, it will be good. As others have said though, "Time will tell."

If the trailers are as good as our Legends, they'll have a good product to offer.

9% fuel saving per 1000 lbs of weight. What a joke,i,m sure it was tested in a real world situation, just like the rest of their mfg process.PUlling 12000 lbs or 15000 lbs all diesels will be 10/11 period, travelling at similar speeds.
