We are planning next winter to stay in the Yuma,AZ area so we can get some dental work done in Mexico. Any suggestions for Dentists you might suggest. We have one Maria Gonzales who is in the Dr. Viginia Castro office in Algodones.
Any suggestions on campgrounds in the area.

We used The Washington Dental Clinic in Juarez, across from El Paso. I don't recommend it...my work was inferior, but it has bought me some time. I looked good at my son's wedding, which was very important to me at the time.

You might want to send a private message to pawatt, the Snowbird Forum moderator. He spends his winters in Mission, TX, in the Rio Grande Valley, and is the go-to guy for anything in that area. He may not have info on the area near Yuma, but if you want to spend a winter in the Valley, I'll bet he has the answer for that location, or could put you in touch with those who do. By the way, he's also your summer neighbor as well, living in Minnesota when he's not in Mission.

Generally yes, many 1000's of Americans have their dental work done in Mexico for about 10 - 20% of the cost of having it done here.
There are many very good dentists in Mexico and as anywhere some that are not as good. We have had our dental work done in Nuevo Progresso the past 2 years & are 100% satisfied. The dentist we go to has a very modern & clean office. What I suggest is to ask many people in whatever RV park you stay in what dentist they go to. If you ask enough people a few dentists will will likely stand out as favorites.
Don't be shy, ask the dentist a few questions and ask to see the facilities before you get in the chair. If you don't like what you see go elsewhere. We have saved nearly enough on our dentist bills to pay for our Winters in the Rio Grande Valley. A large number of our friends also go to dentists in Mexico. As of yet none has had any problems.
Thanks for answering what I felt was a slightly off topic question. I didn't mean to hijack the thread, but felt others might also question having work done in Mexico.
