We just purchased a 2007 HHR and love it! We are concerned about the front end becoming dinged up while towing. What's better, a bra or the 3m covering? This car looks brand new and we would like to keep it that way as much as possible but still tow it. Any hints or other information about towing this particular car would be appreciated. Also what kind of mileage can we expect in the HHR?
Thanks!!
Having Good Quality Mudflaps on the Motorhome is the first step! Followed by an across the back skirt.
As far as a Bra is concerned I have found less damage without the Bra! I would go for the 3M film!

Our MH came with short mud flaps. I put on longer ones and we pull our HHR everywhere. After 5000 miles of towing since we bought it, I can't find one ding in the front end. And I'm pretty anal about the paint.
Bras usually flap and do more damage than protection. 3M film I hear is a PITA to put on and off. And it costs $$$. Those grass skirts on the back end toss up more things than you are trying to keep off,(hear say).
A nice set of mud flaps and you'll be fine.
