When we get home, I drain and flush all of the tanks, empty the fridge so I can shut if off and leave the doors open to prevent mold/mildew. We also strip all of the bed linens and dirty clothing, wash it all, and then return the linens to the bed. Last thing I want to have to do is make a bed after having several "post setup" drinks. We leave food in the cabinets that will not spoil before the next trip. We clean the shower, toilet and sinks, and then sweep and mop the floor. I make sure all the electrical and propane fed items are shut down and the propane tanks are closed. One item I seem to almost forget to turn off is the power amplifier for the antenna booster on the television. Take the TT back to the storage yard to eagerly await me picking it up for the next trip. Next trip: July 9 - Heading to Chicagoland Speedway for NASCAR Races

because we currently camp every other weekend and we store our TT in our driveway.
we pull in plug in then do what we call break down.
Remove all dirty clothes and towels and sheets. We take out anything we will not need for our next trip.
I take my grocery needs list into the home and add it to my home list. Empty the fridge of things that will not keep for the next week. milk eggs and so forth and take them in the house for use.
I then do what I call, the spic and span clean. where I break out all the attachments for the shopvac and go to town on all the edges. Then I mop everything down.
If I didn't get around to filing all paperwork/maps from the last trip I do so then. I also load all photos onto a hosting site of the past trip. After that I update my blog.
The following few days the TT gets restocked. I try and get the sheets towels and clothes back in with in a few days so that with in an hr I can have her hitched and ready to do when the husband gets home from work.
We have on a few trips flushed the tank several times and just let all valves stay open, But that was when we would only camp every 2 or 3 weeks.
I should add that we do wash the TT as soon as we have a nice day to do so after a trip.
I dont stock the fridge till either the day of or the day before if were leaving earily.
Vacuum floors, empty black/grey tanks with blue tank and go to dump station, Turn off the A/C, open the vents (they have ventmates on them) for air circulation, open kitchen window slightly, turn off water, lock doors, and leave. Drive home with dirty clothes, towels, linens, and empty cooler. Once home work all week (hubby that is), do chores, (I teach so I do chores during the summer, work on grad school work, and get things ready for the next weekend.) Leave on Friday AM and drive back to our seasonal site and enjoy ourselves.
We usually make a note of what went wrong, what we forgot, or what we need to do better next time. We call it our "Lessons Learned" list. As we resolve things on our list we delete them, and before each trip we go over the list to remind ourselves of what happened in the past so we can (hopefully) prevent it from happening again.
