I remember one old boy laughed at me when I said I had to go to work and he said what is work. I looked at him and said when I retire where would you be, his mouth dropped and relizied where he would be ( pushing up daisies ). We all get our turn don't rub it in.

That's the breaks. It's nice to sleep-in, and do whatever everyday. I'm down with it.

Welcome to the club.
My wife and I go around with a perpetual smile on our faces.
When everyone else is planning their weekends, we are planning on staying at home and keeping out of the main stream traffic.
why plan the weekend when we can plan the other five days?

Robert, I will tell my wife your sad situation. Where she works they are changing over their computer system and the only day she will have off is Friday the Fourth, then back to work Saturday and Sunday. I am sure she will feel bad for you........
In my case, I have a 3 day weekend every weekend. I work 4 ten hour days, Tuesday through Friday. So, I just have a 3 day workweek this week!!!!!!!!!!

Its kind of funny - before I retired, I looked forward to those three day weekends. Now I plan around them when traveling because of difficulty getting reservations, higher costs, crowds, etc.
Retired - Will golf at a moment's notice
