Considering this unit. Does anyone own one? Would like to know a few things before I drive across the state to look at. The unit has a rear table with 4 captain chairs. Thats all I could make by the pictures.
Does anyone have a layout of unit? How many will it sleep? Full bathroom? Gas mileage city and highway? Any other info.
It does have the VW engine. 34000 miles. Owner is asking $10-12.
What do you think?

Recommend you do a search here on Rialta's. Engine service appears to be a problem.

We considered the Rialta for a while, so I got educated on them via on-line only. They were introduced in 1996 and ran through 2005. The engine changed along the way, adding more power every few years. $10,000 to $12,000 is a cheap price for what you described.
The 4 passenger seat option is supposed to sleep 4 people. Two on the dinette bed and two on the 4 front seats that supposedly convert into a double bed of some kind. Four people sleeping in a Rialta will be tight, but it is designed to work.
The bath is a tiny closet that you pull out to get inside. Wierd yes, but I understand it works well. Given the tight quarters over-all, they had to do something to get it to fit.
Adding: One thing that concerned me about the Rialta is that all it's features are scaled down so tiny that they are inadequate for two or more people to vacation in. The fridge is small, the water & sewer tanks hold too little....everything is just too small to do any good. The Rialta seems ideal for a single person.
But it's a lot more RV than a Class-B, so it depends what your needs and expectations are.

There were very few problems with the Rialta it is really aimed at single lady or lady that does all the driving and with husband in wheel chair it fits right into the doorway. It is not for long term camping (I did 2 weeks with 2 little one and a mean wife) That was a very long lasting memory!!!! The price is right go get it!! rvtommy

You can go to the Winnebago web site www.winnebagoind.com and get a pdf brochure on line on most models

I am looking at a 1999 Rialta with 39,900 miles in an ad for $21,000. If you are not interested, send me a private message, I would like to look at it for myself. The price is way lower then I have seen in Indiana. Maybe that indicates something, I don't know but I would certainly check it out well.

my sister had precursor to rialta, the lesharo, they are neat little motorhomes for two people. problem with both is getting service, the VW is lots better than the renault, but there are not many VW garages that will work on them because of size. that idea scared the heck out of me in case i was in middle of wyoming or utash somewhere. dont let anybody tell you that you can go to any VW dealer, just not true.
