Now that's good eatin' at darn good prices with awesome service, and they serve all meals all day (6am - 10pm).

Just became number 1 on my list of places to go back to. Comfort foot extraordinaire!

And, it's on the way to/from work! Except for the one at Mt Shasta. It's a tad farther from work, but it could be on the long way home to Washington state....

Loosen your belt a notch or two and I'll see you at the table. I'll be the one eating the blackberry cobbler.

I have a different opinion. The worst meal I ever had was from the blackbear diner off hilltop drive in Redding. It was suppose to be med rare prime rib but instead was shoe leather. When the waitress served me she dropped the auju sauce off into my lap and to top it all off after everything...they tried to double charge me rather than give me the meal for free which is what they should have done. This happened 3 years ago and I haven't and will not be back.
We eat at Logans Roadhouse or Cattelmans or Outback now instead. I've yet to be dumped on and double charged for the privelidge yet at those places.

I like the one they just opened up here in Oakley.

But I have always liked Mike's cooking. The owner had a small shop here in town before he got into the chain.

We have a Black Bear Diner here in Las Vegas too. It isn't any better than other coffee shop diners that I can see.

I'm a big fan of Black Bear Diner. They do a good breakfast and I like the cobbler. I can't argue with the lack of service, in Walnut Creek and Suisun City I've had indifferent service. But in Willows CA, on I-5 for those of you traveling, I've had good service every time.
