From what I understand, all you need is the cable with connectors on each end. You can buy the cable and add the connections yourself but I'd recommend that you buy the lenght you want with the connections already crimped on. If you don't get the connections on right your picture will be distorted. I know Lowes actually carries several lengths of cable with connections already added.....

That's all you need... 25ft should be more than adequate.

In most cases, the 25ft cable will reach. A lot will depend on where the 'services' tower sits. I think what I've seen is that the farthest forward on my trailer was mid-ship. It has been between there and the back corner.

You can always buy a 25 foot section and a 10 foot section with a coupler for those "just in case" situations. That way you'll have 35ft. You'll probably never need the 10 footer but it's better to have it if you do ever need it. Or just buy a 30-35 footer in the first place. Probably over-kill but you'll never get caught short.....

I like the push-on connectors which are must faster/easier to connect to each end than the screw-on type. Some campers have their connector located deep in a recessed box and it takes long strong fingers to screw on the cable connector.

My connector is on the back of the box where the power cable is stored. Very difficult to reach. I have a short piece of coax with a barrel connector and just leave it attached and stored in the box. When I need it I pull it out and attach a longer piece to it. This also gives me an extra couple of feet if I need it. Only once have I needed more than a 25 ft piece and I was able to buy it in the camp store.

You should have plenty with 25'. But, 25' & 10' would be good, you would probably use the 10' more though. Remember that when using cable you have to turn off your booster or the cable won't work, no picture.

I have a 25', but was recently at a place where it just wouldn't reach. I was going to get a 10' with a connector, but it was only a couple of bucks more to get a 50' cable, so that's what I did. Now, I carry both, and if they've got cable, I can probably reach it!

Yepper. That's all you need. (I agree on the 25 and 10 foot lengths too.) And it will work if you decide to use a satellite dish and receiver also. ( I recommend Direct TV for it's single satellite requirement.) Now in my case I also carry a 300ft roll for when we go to Dover for the races. Our normal site is very wooded and I need all of that 300 to reach the parks clearing. But when I get it there it's a 95% signal lock in.
