Except for length, it's legal in all states that allow doubles. With safety chains, it's not dangerous at all. Besides that, they were steel cable reinforced straps I had special made. I since sold the boat and flat tow so don't be scared if you see me.

I'm 59 feet front to tail lights when I tow, and yes, that's a long, long tow
But when you are going down the road, the way they build motor homes it tracks real nice, I've never had a "long ride" problem.. Unlike folks with 5'ers or Lucy in the movie

Hey all... we traveled about 300 miles yesterday and had no problems whatsoever! As I figured, getting out of the neighborhood was the hardest part.
There were several "moments" where I found myself with a death grip on the wheel... semis zooming by in construction zones with barriers on both sides, but we made it in one piece without a scratch on the van.
Looks to me like everything is bigger and better in Missouri... that's a pretty crazy setup alwims!
