Took my Shadow Cruiser off the truck last week so i could take the truck in for lube changes --transmission serviced ect.
had the camper up on the hand crank posts and had 2 55 gal barrels under it.
in comes a storm w/ 70 mile an hour winds and now the camper is sitting on a 45 degree angle. top is supported by my horse trailer and the bottom is being supported by the tw 55 gal barrels------have not a clue how i going to get it uprighted without it falling the rest of the way to the ground. Unsure whether i shound attempt it before the insurance adjusters look at it or not.
smashed up the top corner pretty bad--streched and buckled the metal accross the front and can't open the door.
i have no idea what year it actually is and can find no manufacturers tag on it. all i got when i bought ot was a bill of sale.
it is (WAS) in like new condition , araid of what the insurance company is going to offer me.

That is terrible that happened to your camper! Sounds like it is fixable though. Maybe you can winch it back over with a hand winch anchored to the truck hitch.
You need to find out the make, model and year so the insurance company can have some way to value it...

Sorry to hear about your accident. I'd contact the Insurance guy....let him tell you what to do. But, mention to him that you need to stabilize it, so it doesn't do more damage to itself, and the horse trailer. If he tells you to try and move it yourself, then I would do as SoCal suggested.....get a hand winch, or a long rope (attached to your truck), that runs up over the top, and use it to pull the rig back upright. With the legs down, it shouldn't go too far in the opposite direction, but you may want to set another couple of drums in place too.
Just be careful....the camper can be replaced....you can't! No matter what your wife says!! LOL

There is no plate or VIN anywhere??? Even when it's off the truck? There should be something....especially, since you say it was "like new"! I'd keep looking.....usually in cabinets!

I forgot to mention, when you go to pull it back up, you'll want to put another line on it on the other side anchored to something else big and heavy and give the line just enough slack so it becomes taught when the camper reaches the upright position, so you don't end up pulling the camper over the other way.
Might want to get on a Shadow Cruiser owner group forum and post pics of yours and see if anyone can offer more info about it.

That was a wicked storm. It blew through here with some 90 mph winds. I moved mine to the east side of the house/garage. I had no meaningful damage. No power for 2 days. I hooked the Honda into the panel and showered in the camper. Good luck getting that SC righted, maybe some of those tall jacks under the wing at an angle on the way back down.
