Unto these Hills is an outdoor drama in Cherokee about Native Americans.
Saw it years ago & was quite good. Great mountain experience.

Dixie stampede for a dinner show and for lunch Old Mill Restaurant is a must. Both of them in Pigeon Forge. My favorite breakfast place is the Back Porch located in Townsend.

We went to a BBQ place that was right down the street from Tremont Hills campground that wasn't too bad (and they had deep fried pickles). I think it is associated with one of the river tube companies. We had an incredible lunch at Best Italian which is in a little nook near the base of Ober Gatlinburg (opposite side of the street). Their garlic rolls are TO DIE FOR.

We live quite close to the PF/Gat. area so are up there a lot and camp up there all the time...I second whoever posted not to eat the The Alamo...it is totally overpriced and just plain bad...much better places to eat! If you get up into GB make sure to go to The Best Italian restraunt. It is a total locals place and is wonderful...their pizza is awesome and the garlic rolls are yum yum ymuuummm!!!! The place is on the left side of the road if you are going into GB back in the Elks Plaza all the way in the back. They have a bar, and a full menu. My husband really likes their low carb dishes, since he is a diabetic. Don't miss this place! As for shows, The magic show is good...Wonderworks is also pretty cool, and they also have a dinner show inside the same building, we haven't been to that though. Wonderworks is like a scientific museum, hands on stuff like taking off and landing a plane. pretty interesting stuff. Tony Romas is really good for ribs, and bbq, Bull Fish is really good and the italian place that is in the same parking lot as bull fish, I can't think of name of right now, is also very good...
HAve fun...The smokeys is a great place to go.

Best show: View from chimney top early in the morning, or cades cove late in the evening.
Best Place to Eat: Picnic lunch near the bridge at the Crosby entrance to the park.
