Just went on our first trip with our new 2007 Fleetwood Jamboree 31W. The unit performed well & handled well. I was quite surprised as to how well the unit handles on the interstate with all the trucks. I had read previously on this forum, that several people had described their expereince as white knuckled! Our only incident was a very heavy crosswind of about 60 MPH that really pushed the unit. We just pulled off until the storm passed! I had considered changing the shocks & adding Safe-T-Plus before venturing out, but decided to wait & see how it handled. Might consider the Safe-T-Plus because of the crosswind incident.
The V10 was quiet & very responsive, good power. Mileage averaged about 9 - 9.5 MPG with only 1134 miles on nthe unit. We traveled at about 60 MPH. The best investment I made was the Scangauge II, which provided great readout of MPG & throttle pressure.
Just thought I would share the information considering some of the stories I've read on the forum.
Thanks for sharing! DH and I are planning to buy our first Class C MH before the end of the year and so far we are quite impressed with the Fleetwood products. I'm really happy to read your review. Hope you make many wonderful memories in your Jamboree.

I found similar results when driving our Winnebago 31C (probably about the same size as yours) home from Tennessee....a little pull from the truckers as they went by, but not "white knuckle" as I'd read. I got a bit less on the mileage, but I was also doing between 65-75 most of the way. Didn't have the scangauge for that trip...wish I had!
Congratulations on your new rig....I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Just got back from a 1,600 miles trip around Michigan's UP in a rented 2009 Winnebago Access 31J, built on a 2008 Ford E450 chassis. The unit was brand new when we picked it up from the dealer. Used my Scangauge II and also checked mileage the old fashioned way. We averaged about 8.5 mpg for the trip. The unit handled well, though it was poor at tracking. There was no "centering" feel to the wheel, so you had to pay attention to keep it straight between the lines. I didn't notice any problems with big rigs passing, though. It was remarkably quiet compared to the Four Winds 28A we rented from CruiseAmerica two years ago.
