After running to Wally World for food stuffs, I went to my MH and loaded all my dog crates, food etc. After securing everything before leaving for the dog show I thought I get things running while I moved my van. On starting my MH I almost jumped through the ceiling! Talk about LOUD! Ya you guessed it. Some jerk stole my Cadylitic Converter. Looked underneath and there is a long section of nothing. I am so sick. After a police report I made arrangements to have a truck service center come out Monday and try to at least put in a straight pipe so I came drive it to get repaired. The cut pipe stops right behind my propane tank. Can't drive it and risk blowing the thing up.
Only thing I can pray for is that this jerk bought plenty of booze with the money and drives home drunk and slams into a tree. I'm Pi##ed!!!!!!
Happy Fourth. All you Veterans THANK YOU!!!

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I just found out yesterday from my tire center that they are stealing them for the plantinum in them.
I didn't know they were even made with that in them.
More important did you make the show? I know those entries fees aren't cheap anymore.

My MH was in the storage area . They even went over the barb wired topped fence. Gotta find a new place now.
Rockhillmanor..I now had to re-learn how to pack my van. I'm spoiled by my MH. Thank God my Honda Gen. is in good shape. I'll leave Midnight tonight and spend Sat. night in the van with my St. Poos. Why....It'll be just like camping!
Now where did I put that cooler....... Wish I had a porta-potty.......

It would have been justice, if you ran over him while he was under your rig.
The biggest problem is the junk dealers. If they would not buy these objects, ( MOSTLY STOLEN ) from these crooks there would 0 market for them. These crooks know what rigs have the biggest and most expensive converters, thus your rig was targeted.

Sorry to hear that. Check at a muffler shop for a replacement cat converter as it will be a lot cheaper than a dealer. Also better check all the wiring, the crooks like to steal copper wire also. The police in our area busted not a scrap metal dealer, but a unscrupulous muffler shop owner who was buying used cat converters from the crooks at half the scrap value and selling them for full value to an out of town scrap dealer. Bummer, you have to watch fuel theft, cat converter theft, copper theft, and aluminum theft.

Plus on the newer units, like yours the pipe is all stainless steel as well. Taking it from a storage yard is about the only place they could do this, the pipe is all welded, so they must have cut it with a hack saw, and that's not fast or quiet.
Ive also heard of then punching holes in the bottom's of gas tanks, if the hose wont work, and taking air bags.
