I just installed a Cool Tech wiring harness on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler toad. Since I am using a Ready Brake which activates the vehicle brakes via the brake pedal, do I need to pull the M-1 brake light fuse? Or, does the Cool Tech harness have diodes or other devices that eliminate the need to pull the Jeep's brake light fuse?

Yes, you will need to either pull the M1 fuse or otherwise defeat the Jeep's brake light switch (RoadMaster Brake-Lite relay or toggle switch).

Pull the M1 fuse as well as the IOD fuse and you'll be set to go. We just finished a 5100 mile trip pulling our '08 Wrangler without a problem. I also have the Cool Tech harness.

same issue with my Grand Cherokee, I pull the Brake Light fuse.
A small zip tie on the fuse makes it easy to pull.
