My friend that works at this campground told me a lady had to call and cancel cause her truck was stolen and she can't haul her 5'er here. she lives in the Houston area...she knows it's already in Mexico.
Our son is flying into the San Antonio airport for a 13 hr. layover today and we were going to go pick him up in the truck rather than our mini-van (nicer ride) and go to the River Walk...think we'll leave the truck here and take the van instead. We're off the beaten path and the cg is protected - my friends watch our place and to get out you have to drive right past the office.
I'm hoping the anti-theft device on the key will help protect our truck. However, it's like my son said "That's why you have insurance." If it's stolen, it's covered.

I am on a couple diesel forums and the superduties are being stolen like crazy in Texas, New Mexico, AZ and CA. The smugglers use them to haul illegals across the border and when they are done with them they usually set them on fire in the middle of the desert!! We really need to put landmines all aong the border. I would even donate a shovel and a few weekends!!

All we need to eliminate the illegals on the border is a 'shoot on site' order - it would STOP this nonsense...but then, that's not 'politically correct' now, is it? But then, the death penalty isn't 'politically correct' either...but in Texas, we have an express lane.

Everyone needs to just Sheriff Joe in Arizona more power. He follows the laws of the land, but does it his way. He'd eliminate a lot of crime all over the country if he were completely in charge.

Now if the Native American Indians had guns and land mines when our ancestors came across the borders I guess we would not have this "nonsense" to worry about. What made our ancestors entry into this country legal?
If they want to come over fine, I have no problem with that, but do it the right way, just like any other Country. They shouldn’t get any special treatment. Sneaking over the border is breaking the law period. Trespassers should be shot and the ones hiring them over here illegally should be hung!

Now you got it.That is a good example of what happens when you let illegals over run your borders.When are the do goods and our government going to wake up.I am beginning to feel like a Indian must have but we have bigger guns than they did.And yes I think it is coming to that.

Lots of trucks get Stolen Here In Canada Too ! I Don't for a moment think it is someone from South of The Border doing It! Joy riders are Joy riders and Pickup Trucks are easy to steal and Get You further into the Bush or Desert than a mini Van or Chevy Car!
Why must so many posters Blame Everything on those that come from a different Culture!
