My 320trl does not vent to the outside either. We usually open the roof vent a little and turn on the hood fan. Works ok for us.

My cheapo-entry-level-hecho-en-Mexico Fleetwood Prowler has a vent hood that vents to the outside!! Whoo-hoo!

Must be the way certain manufacturers do it, I guess.

My Six Pac camper didn't vent to the outside. I just kept the window over the stove partly open while cooking and no problem.

My Montana Mountaineer, made by Keystone (the same company that makes the Laredo), vents to the outside. Go figure!

Our Legends fifth wheel has a vent a hood that vents back into the camper. We found it a little odd, as our previous 5er had one that vented out. Called Pilgrim, and they said this particular unit could not vent to the outside due to outside storage behind the stove. We have a remote control Maxxair fan we turn on while using the stove, so it works faily well. Same floor plan in the Hitchiker line does vent to the outside, so I think the design was a little off.

I talked to Keystone today and they offered no help. They said that it was designed that way live with it. They also said that I put more moisture in there by being in there by breathing I guess we are supposed to hold our breath!I cant believe they would put a vent there for looks. They also told me to buy a dehumidifier what a poor suggestion.

These are not only in the RV industry. My sister had a recirculating one in her house. And it did have the charcoal filter in it. When it was on the returned air hit me right in the face! Thankfully, ours at home and in the RV is vented outside, but it was something I checked before we bought. Make a note for when you purchase your next RV (and you will) that you want one that vents outside.
