I'm looking for the test port (to install a temperature sender) on my E40D transmission. I think/thought it was on the passenger side near the rear, but can't find it. Maybe I just don't know what it looks like. The only thing I find is a bolt head (about a 7/16) a few inches above where the electrical controls plug in. Is this it? I thought it looked like a pipe plug (square head). Could it be behind the shield for these wires? I need help..
