Im looking to either build or buy a console that will fit on the doghouse. Im looking for something larger than the usual van style center console. Does anyone have pics of one that you may have built?

I have search the web for a place to buy one, but all that I hava found is automotive styles.

Thanks,
Steve

Suggestion,
Find an 'unpainted' true wood small drawer unit that will fit on the doghouse in the space you have available. Place a brass luggage clasp at the base on each side and the catch for each clasp bolted up thru the doghouse. It will make it easy to remove when you need to do so. (Like change the air filter or check the trans fluid level.) You can screw down a cup holder / GPS holder or other items holder(s) you want on the top. Then take it all apart, stain and seal the appropriate color to match the other wood in the rig and then install it. You'll have a good looking addition that looks like it belongs there rather than some plastic 'thing' just stuck on.

Very cool idea.

I have made other wood items that are oak stained. I was thinking to make something out of wood too, but didnt think of something already done that I could finish.

Thanks

Why not do something more useful. This is my computer desk. I took an oak table and redisigned the legs to fit over the doghouse. This allows us to use all of our motorhome. Also is great when going down the road.

That is so creative. That would be especially great in a DP. Great job.
